The Clippers now have 48 hours to decide whether they will match the Pelicans’ offer.
New Orleans only had the minimum exception available to Wallace. The total on the sheet is 2 years, $2.93M. The offer sheet had to be for a minimum of 2 years. https://t.co/36xsft7AM0

The 24-year old Wallace is a 6-foot-5 wing who is a solid defender. In 30 games last season, he played 28.6 minutes per outing and scored 9.7 points with 3.5 rebounds on average.
Los Angeles is already over the maximum number of players under contract so the chance of New Orleans retaining Wallace appear good. The Cal product would give the Pels another option at their thinnest position, small forward.
