Pelicans guard Bluiett recovering from thumb surgery

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Pelicans announced Friday that two-way guard Trevon Bluiett underwent successful surgery on Tuesday, January 29 to repair an ulnar collateral ligament in his right thumb.

A timetable for his return will be announced at a later date.

Bluiett was undrafted out of Xavier before signing a two-way deal with the Pelicans after impressing in the preseason.
