Pelicans center Jonas Valanciunas enters NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols
Jonas Valanciunas is the latest Pelicans player to enter the NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols, coach Willie Green said Friday.
As a result, New Orleans will be without their starting center Saturday evening when they face the World Champion Bucks in Milwaukee.
Valanciunas is averaging 18.5 points and 12 rebounds per game in his first season with the team.
The Pelicans have won five of their last six games.
