Pelicans announce training camp roster, schedule
NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Pelicans announced today the team’s roster and schedule for its 2019 Training Camp.
The Pelicans will tip-off their 2019 Training Camp with Media Day on Monday, Sept. 30 at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center in Metairie, La. beginning at 11:00 a.m. CT. Media members who plan to cover Media Day should RSVP to Will McClaran via email at will.mcclaran@pelicans.com.
Pelicans Training Camp will take place from Tuesday, Oct. 1 through Friday, Oct. 4 at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center. Practice times will be announced the day prior to each practice. Training Camp practices are closed to the public and will be open to the media at the conclusion of each practice.
The Pelicans will hold their annual Open Practice at the Smoothie King Center on Saturday, Oct. 5 starting at 6:00 p.m. CT. Open Practice offers fans a firsthand look at the 2019-20 Pelicans team and features appearances from the Pelicans Dance Team and the Pelicans Swoop Troop, in addition to giveaways. Concession stands will be open during the event. The ticketed event is free and open to the public. Fans can download their free tickets at www.pelicans.com/openpractice. There is a limit of four tickets per person and seating is general admission.
