Pelicans announce medical updates on Alvarado, Nance, Williamson

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Pelicans announced today the following medical updates:

Jose Alvarado has been diagnosed with a stress reaction in his right tibia. Alvarado will be re-evaluated in three weeks and his return to play timeline will be updated at a later date.

Larry Nance Jr., who suffered a left ankle sprain during Saturday’s game at New York, will be re-evaluated in two weeks and his timetable to return will be updated accordingly.

Zion Williamson continues to make progress with rehabilitation for his right hamstring strain. Further updates will be provided following medical imaging next week.
