Pelicans announce Crescent City-themed ‘Statement Edition’ uniform for 2023-24

The New Orleans Pelicans today announced their 2023-24 Statement Edition uniforms. The Pelicans 2023-24 Statement Edition uniform honors the Crescent City, and this vibrant uniform is a tribute to the unique place in the riverbend that we call home.

“The Pelicans re-designed Statement Edition uniforms bring a vintage feel that represents our young franchise and gives a unique take on the red uniform that continues to complement our navy and white uniforms,” said Pelicans Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer Ben Hales. “The Pelicans 2023-24 Statement Edition uniform honors our home, the Crescent City.”

The new design features a different neckline, new styled numbers and replaces “Pelicans” with “Crescent City” to align with our Crescent City Basketball identity. This is the first full design update to the red uniform since the Pelicans debuted the prior version during the 2014-2015 season.

On Aug. 1, the new Pelicans Statement Edition jerseys will be made available online and at the Team Store at the Smoothie King Center.

To complement the new Statement Edition uniform and provide a range of options for our fans to rep the new design, Statement Edition-inspired hoodies, short-sleeved shirts, hats, koozies and more will also be available for purchase starting at 9:00 a.m. on Aug.1 at the Pelicans Team Store at the Smoothie King Center.
