Video: Orgeron says he’s not been approached about LSU job status
Even though it appears LSU head coach Ed Orgeron is on thin ice when it comes to remaining in his job for much longer, no one has addressed him about it as of yet.
“As far as I know I’m the head coach of the LSU Tigers and that’s all the matters,” said Orgeron during his weekly press conference Monday.
Orgeron stated that one has talked to him about his job status despite the fact he is aware that the current 3-3 Tigers do not meet “the LSU standard of performance.”

The embattled coach less than two years removed from a 15-0 national title run is 8-8 at LSU since the CFP championship game triumph in January 2020.
“I know exactly where I’m at. And I’m going to go to work today and don’t blink. I promise you. I will not blink — for anyone,” said Orgeron.
Up next, LSU (3-3, 1-2) hosts Florida (4-2, 2-2) at 11 a.m. Saturday.
