Orgeron: LSU QB Brennan likely out for rest of season
Head coach Ed Orgeron said LSU starting quarterback Myles Brennan is likely out for the rest of the season.
“It doesn’t look like he’s going to be back unless something miraculous happens,” Orgeron said during the weekly SEC coaches teleconference Wednesday.
Coach O says that Myles Brennan may have surgery to repair and abdominal and hip injury and is likely done for the season.
Wouldn't go as far as confirming either surgery or out for the year, but sounds almost certain.#LSU

Orgeron opened up more about the severity of Brennan’s reported abdominal tear at the hip that has kept him off the field for the past four weeks. Surgery to repair the injury is an option, according to Orgeron.
Brennan, a redshirt junior, passed for 1,112 yards, 11 touchdowns and three interceptions in three games this season.
LSU was scheduled to host Alabama this weekend before a COVID-19 outbreak on the Tigers’ roster led to postponement of the SEC West contest.
