The Ole Miss Rebels are now up to 20 pledges for the 2019 class with the addition of a New Orleans recruit.

Warren Easton offensive lineman Caleb Etienne picked the Rebels over offers from Kansas, Oregon, Tennessee, Oregon State, ULL and La. Tech.

Ole Miss line coach Jack Bicknell and linebackers coach Jon Sumrall were instrumental in convincing Etienne. He displays heavy hands, maintains his block and moves his feet very well to ward off defenders. Etienne has good size at 6-foot-6 and 306 pounds but he does need a little work on knee bend.

Neville High offensive tackle Logan Newell (6-5, 285) gives the UL Lafayette Ragin Cajuns eight commits for ’19 signing class, rejecting offers from ULM, Northwestern State, Nicholls and Texas State. The Cajuns offered on Newell June 10.

Newell comes off the ball with good pad level, gets upfield quickly, and displays good feet with balance. He maintains choppy steps and uses his hands very well.
