Oct. 28 SLU-SHSU contest among Southland TV selections

HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana football team’s Oct. 28 contest versus defending Southland Conference champion Sam Houston State is among the Southland Conference Week Nine Television selections, the league office announced on Monday.

The 7 p.m. contest will be broadcast on ESPN3 live from Strawberry Stadium. The Lions-Bearkats matchup will be one of two games designated the Southland-ESPN3 Game of the Week, as the network will also air that day’s McNeese at Central Arkansas contest.

The Lions (4-3, 4-1 Southland) will look to extend their four-game winning streak when it heads to Abilene Christian for a 2:30 p.m. league contest this Saturday. The game will air on the Southeastern Sports Radio Network (KSLU 90.9 FM, Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM, WFPR 1400 AM). Fans can also listen to the hour-long show online at www.LionSports.net/listenlive and via the TuneIn Radio app, while a live video stream will be accessible at www.ACUSports.com.
