Tickets on Sale for LA Tech Football

RUSTON – With the start of the 2017 football season less than a week away, Louisiana Tech fans are reminded that both season and single game tickets for Bulldog football are still on sale at the LA Tech Ticket Office.

Head coach Skip Holtz and Co. are one of only four programs in the country (Clemson, Wisconsin, Utah) to have won at least nine games and a bowl game in each of the last three seasons. The Bulldogs have been picked to win the West Division of Conference USA by the league coaches and most of the preseason publications.

Tech opens its campaign Saturday vs. Northwestern State at 6 p.m. at Joe Aillet Stadium, and the contest against the Demons will be the first of seven home games this year. Tech also hosts Mississippi State (Sept. 9), South Alabama (Sept. 30), Southern Miss (Oct. 21), North Texas (Nov. 4 – Homecoming), Florida Atlantic (Nov. 11) and UTSA (Nov. 25).

Louisiana Tech officials encourage fans to purchase their tickets for the first two home games this week in order to avoid possible long lines at the ticket booths on game day. The Tech Ticket Office (located at the Thomas Assembly Center) is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Fans can call the Tech Ticket Office at 318-257-3631 or email techtickets@latech.edu. Fans can also purchase single game tickets online at LATechSports.com.

Both the East and West Side Ticket Booths will open at noon on Saturday for fans who haven’t purchased their tickets. As part of the renovations to the West Side of Joe Aillet Stadium, a brand new ticket booth was built so fans no longer have to walk up to the ticket office at the Thomas Assembly Center on gameday.

Gates to Joe Aillet Stadium will open 90 minutes prior to kickoff for every home game. Doors to the Davison Athletics Complex for fans holding tickets to the Club Level will open two hours prior to kickoff while access to the new luxury suites in the new press box will be allowed starting 90 minutes out.

Louisiana Tech students with a current University ID will gain admittance to the stadium at Gate 9, located on the northeast corner of the stadium. The LA Tech Player Pass List will be located at Gate 5 on the southwest corner of Joe Aillet Stadium while the Northwestern State Player Pass List will be at Gate 6 on the southeast corner of the facility.
