Northwestern State opens two-game fall baseball slate Sunday at home vs. Delgado

NATCHITOCHES – The Northwestern State baseball team will play a pair of fall exhibition games, beginning Sunday at Brown-Stroud Field against Delgado Community College.

First pitch for the 18-inning game is set for 2 p.m. and marks the first of two exhibition games the Demons will play this fall. Admission to Sunday’s game is free.

Northwestern State will travel to UL Lafayette on Oct. 31 to wrap up its fall slate. This marks the first time the Demons will play more than one fall game.

The Demons are coming off their fourth straight winning season, reaching the Southland Conference Tournament for the fourth straight season. Northwestern State returns 23 letterwinners from the 2021 season and has added 15 newcomers to the roster.
