NATCHITOCHES – The Northwestern State men’s basketball signee class grew to nine Friday as the Demons inked Eastern Florida State College transfer Reggie Hill.

Hill led the Titans in rebounding with nearly seven per game as a second-year freshman, adding 8.4 points per game.
The 6-foot-8 forward has a shooting touch from deep, making 37 percent from 3-point range while shooting 42 percent overall.

“Reggie brings a versatile mix of length, athleticism and skill that will afford us opportunities to mix and match our lineups,” said NSU coach Corey Gipson. “His ability to shoot the ball from 3-point range at 6-foot-8 will bode well for our offensive attack.

“We are very blessed to have a player from coach Jeremy Shulman’s program at Eastern Florida State College.”

Hill started 14 of the 27 games in which he appeared for a Titans squad that compiled a 22-9 record.

The Melbourne, Fla., native, scored in double digits 10 times with a season-high 19 points against ASA College.
