** Acadiana and West Monroe vaulted past Covington in the Class 5A power ratings to the first and second positions, leaving the Lions in third after they defeated St. Paul’s 21-20.

** Watch out for the Salmen Spartans after their 34-33 non-district win at home against Franklinton after they rose to 11^th on the most recent Class 4A power ratings.
