Nick Saltaformaggio to speak Wednesday at Life Resources Bottom Line Luncheon
Growing up in Metairie, Nick Saltaformaggio was drawn to sports at a young age at Lakeshore Playground.
Saltaformaggio attended Holy Cross High School, graduating in 1977.
Ultimately, Saltaformaggio followed his passion and his calling into coaching, serving as head football coach and athletic director at Abeville, Chalmette, East Jefferson and Hahnville.
In 2020, Saltaformaggio accepted the calling to return to his alma mater as head football coach at Holy Cross.
In his outstanding career spanning over 40 years in coaching, Saltaformaggio captured the first and only state championship in East Jefferson High School history and later led Hahnville to a state title game.
Saltaformaggio has earned Louisiana Coach of the Year honors twice and earned National High School Coach of the Year honors once.
Saltaformattio is married to Sharon and they have five children and six grandchildren.
