Saints mask model

NFL fans who attend NFL games this season will have to wear masks.

Brian McCarthy, the league’s vice president of communications, tweeted confirmation of the often-assumed policy.

As for fan attendance being allowed in the first place, the NFL has left that decision in the hands of the Saints and the other 31 teams as of now. State and local policy based on their status during the pandemic will determine what each team can do.

Louisiana is currently in Phase 2 of the process of reopening, and Governor John Bel Edwards has mandated that people wear masks.
