Newman-Booker T. Washington football game to air on ESPN2 next Thursday

Isidore Newman’s home game against Booker T. Washington next week will be televised nationally by ESPN2, the network announced Tuesday.

The Greenies and Lions will meet Thursday, Oct. 15, at Lupin Field. Kickoff is at 8 p.m.

Sophomore Arch Manning – the top-ranked quarterback in the Class of 2023 – leads Newman, which opened its season with a victory over East Jefferson. His top target, AJ Johnson, has offers from Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Miami.
