NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans women’s basketball program’s next two scheduled games against LSU and Alcorn State have been canceled as the team continues to follow health and safety protocols. Neither game will be made up.

The Privateers were slated for the short trip up to Baton Rouge to take on SEC power LSU on Saturday and follow it up with a Monday trip to Alcorn State. With safety being the priority for UNO student-athletes and staff, New Orleans has taken the step to cancel the last four women’s basketball games in total.

For New Orleans, the next scheduled game is now set to take place at home against Grambling State on Wednesday, Dec. 29 at 2 PM CT at the UNO Lakefront Arena.

Stay tuned for any further schedule developments, as the latest will be posted here on UNOPrivateers.com and on the department’s social accounts (@UNOPrivateers).
