New Orleans Jesters to host player trials on Saturday, December 12
The New Orleans Jesters will host a player trial for the 2021 NPSL season on Saturday, December 12 at Tad Gormley Stadium in City Park from 9 a.m. to noon.
The cost to attend trials is $65 ($80 on-site registration), all attendees will receive a New Orleans Jesters training jersey. Soccer players interested in attending the trial should complete an application available at 2021 NPSL Trials.
“The Jesters have always produced top level soccer players and we want to give everyone a chance to come out and show our coaching staff what they are capable of,” said New Orleans Jesters Head Coach Kenny Farrell. “I am fully committed to providing an opportunity for our best local talent to reach the highest levels. If you feel that you have the ability, please come out and participate, I want to see you play.”
The Jesters will compete in the NPSL Gulf Coast Conference starting in May 2021
NPSL’s summer season, which runs from May to August, will culminate in a playoff between the two highest-ranked teams in the conference. The conference champion will progress to a regional playoff, and, if successful, a national championship match. At the end of each season, the NPSL places its conference champions and other top-ranked teams directly into the first round of the US Open Cup based on spots allocated to them by U.S. Soccer.
