The New Orleans Jesters NPSL season has been canceled as a result of the continuing impact of COVID-19.

Earlier this week, USASA extended its ban on soccer activity until April 30, and the CDC has recommended there be no group activities for eight weeks, which coordinates with May 10, the first week of the Jesters planned schedule.

Given these circumstances, the 2020 NPSL summer season, under its current competition structure, has been cancelled. The decision was made unanimously by the NPSL Board of Directors.

It is possible that a restructured NPSL competition will take place if the circumstances allow. Details will be released as they become available.
