New Orleans Jesters kick off U-19 season Friday night

The New Orleans Jesters kick off their NPSL U-19 pilot spring season with a home match this Friday, March 12 versus Southern States SC. The game will be played at Pan American Stadium, kick off is set for 6:00 PM, there is no charge for admission.

“Head coach Igor Siscov and his technical staff have been working very hard over the past few weeks to get the squad prepared for the start of the season,” said New Orleans Jesters Director of Soccer Kenny Farrell

“This is a league where the most talented players that have the drive and ambition to move on to the next level will play. I have already identified several players from the fall season and look forward to this game on Friday.”

Under the direction of Kenny Farrell the U-19 technical staff includes head coach Igor Siscov, assistant coach Adam Toras and goalkeeper / assistant coach Jose Santos.

The NPSL U-19 pilot spring season features a nine game schedule with each team playing a home and away series versus the other teams. The participating teams for the spring season are Florida Roots, New Orleans Jesters, Southern States Soccer and Port City FC.

The league will run from March – May. The gameday roster will consist of U-17, U-18, and U-19 players along with up to three overage players. For more information please visit NPSL.com.
