New Orleans Jesters announce technical staff for U-19 squad

New Orleans, LA. The New Orleans Jesters have announced the technical staff for the U-19 team that will play in the new NPSL pilot-league starting in September.

Under the direction of New Orleans Jesters Director of Soccer Kenny Farrell, the U-19 head coach will be Igor Siscov. His assistant will be Adam Toras.

Farrell is looking forward to working with the coaches, both of whom played for him with the Jesters in the NPSL,

“This is an exciting project to be a part of and I’m looking forward to helping Igor and his staff get the squad ready for the inaugural season. We are now able to define the local pathway from our academy directly to the professional and the collegiate game.”

A native of Moldova, Siscov is a current New Orleans Jesters NPSL player and also played professionally in Europe. Toras is a longtime player for the NPSL New Orleans Jesters. He also played collegiately at Christian Brothers University where he captained the Memphis based NCAA team.

About the NPSL U-19 Pilot-League

The U-19 Pilot League will be governed by the National Premier Soccer League and will be affiliated with the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA). The participating teams for the inaugural season are AFC Mobile, New Orleans Jesters, Southern States Soccer, Pensacola FC, and Port City FC.

The league will run from September through November. Each team will play a total of eight games, four home and four away. The gameday roster will consist of U-17, U-18, and U-19 players along with up to three overage players. More information, including the full match schedule, will be released on NPSL.com in the coming weeks. A spring season is also being planned.
