New Orleans hosts five non-conference women’s basketball games in 2018-19

NEW ORLEANS – University of New Orleans head women’s basketball coach Keeshawn Davenport announced the 2018-19 non-conference schedule Thursday and the Privateers will play at the historic Lakefront Arena five times before the new year.

Beginning the season with an exhibition versus the University of West Alabama November 2, the Privateers begin the regular season as part of a doubleheader with the men, hosting Centenary College November 6 at 5:30 p.m. on blue t-shirt & magnet giveaway night.

Three days later, the Silver and Blue head to Pitt to battle the University of Pittsburgh before returning to Lakefront Arena to host Trinity Baptist November 17 (7 p.m.) and the University of Louisiana-Monroe November 25.

Ending the opening month of action at Rice University (November 30), the Privateers head to the University of Memphis December 4 and back to the U (University of Miami December 9).

The field trip game (11 a.m.) features Regents versus the Privateers December 12. New Orleans concludes the non-conference schedule at 11 a.m. CT at Xavier University in Cincinnati.
