Mount Carmel get first bowling victory with win over Kenner Discovery

Mount Carmel put together a full team and put together its first victory of the season with a 16-11 win over Kenner Discovery in girls action in the New Orleans Prep Bowling League at AMF All-Star Lanes Monday.

The Cubs won game one 5-3 as Jenna Wehner shot 148 and took game two 6-2 behind a 175 game by Wehner.

Kenner Discovery rallied in game three for a 6-2 win as Tassie Cahill had a 149 game and Callie Hebert shot 142 but the Cubs won total pins 2,030-1,899 to capture the three bonus points and the winning margin.

Wehner was high for Mount Carmel with a 436 series while Hebert was best for Kenner Discovery with a 414 series.
