The grad transfer parade continues as college football enters the spring training phase. A few of the following players will be looking to answer “Help Wanted” signs.

One intriguing prospect is a position in high demand. Former John Curtis cornerback Terrence Alexander helped the Patriots to three state titles totaling 91 career tackles and nine interceptions. Also a sprinter on Curtis track team, the 5-foot-10, 187 pounder played in 40 games at Stanford but missed 2017 due to injury. Alexander will be eligible somewhere in ’18 for his final college season.

Wake Forest wide receiver Tabari Hines (5-10, 179) has played in 37 contests. The very crafty pass catcher snared 53 balls for 683 yards and seven touchdowns last season. The Florence, South Carolina native graduates in the spring.

Brandon Dawkins is a dual threat quarterback who was beaten out at Arizona by sophomore Khalil Tate. The Oxnard, California product spent three seasons with the Wildcats, making 23 appearances. He tallied 732 passing yards (61.4% completions) with five tocuhdowns and four interceptions in 2017, adding 459 yards (6.7 yards per carry) and eight scores as a runner. Dawkins (6-3, 210) played in seven games last fall. He graduates in May and looking for greener pastures.

Kevin Feder (6-9, 302) has suffered through an injury-plagued career at Ohio State, making one appearance in ’17. The Ramsey, NJ native has two year remaining to play. Interestingly, former Buckeyes assistant Tom Herman, now Texas head coach, is familiar with Feder and may take a flyer.

Finally, Jalan McClendon has done everything asked during his days at North Carolina State. The former 3 star from Charlotte has backed up Jacoby Brissett and Ryan Finley. He has moderate numbers in 20 appearances (262 passing yards with one touchdown and four interceptions. McClendon (6-5, 212) ran for an additional 223 yards on 46 carries. He has not been a problem and just wants to make to most of his final season somewhere.
