RUSTON – As part of a revamped schedule, Louisiana Tech head coach Eric Konkol announced Wednesday that the Bulldogs will play a home-and-home series this upcoming basketball season against the ULM Warhawks.

LA Tech will host ULM on Dec. 3 inside the Thomas Assembly Center and then head to Monroe on Dec. 22 to play inside Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

“With the recent changes to NCAA scheduling guidelines, all of college basketball has been working to find solutions for these unique challenges,” said Konkol. “We are pleased to schedule these two games with ULM to give our program the best opportunity to compete in the non-conference.”

The two programs separated by only 30 miles will face off on the hardwood for the first time since 2013. The Bulldogs have won six straight meetings and lead the all-time series, 52-36, which dates back to 1954.
