LAKE CHARLES – Kent Shelby, one of the most prolific wide receivers in McNeese football history, has been signed by the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent, the organization announced late on Saturday.

The New Orleans native is one of 21 college free agents the Chargers signed following the conclusion of the 2018 NFL Draft which wrapped up Saturday.

The tall, 6-foot-3, 208-pound target ended his McNeese career ranked fourth all-time with 129 receptions, fifth with 1,910 receiving yards and sixth with 14 touchdown catches.
