LAKE CHARLES – McNeese Football will delay the start of fall camp, head football coach Frank Wilson announced on Thursday.

The Cowboys were originally scheduled to begin camp on Friday morning at 9 a.m. for the first of two, split squad practices, with the other beginning at 3:45.

“On Wednesday, the NCAA released new guidelines for all of its schools in Divisions I, II and III. McNeese is in the process of implementing plans to meet all of these new guidelines,” said Interim Director of Athletics Heath Schroyer.

No date has been set for the start of camp at this time.
