Marksville promotes Jimmie Hillman to head football coach

Jimmie Hillman has been appointed as Markville High School’s new head football coach. The school announced the decision on Facebook early Monday morning.

Hillman has spent the last six seasons on Marksville’s football coaching staff including the last five seasons as offensive coordinator. He has also coached the boys track teams.

Former Marksville head coach J.T. Dunbar stepped down after the 2021 season.

The Tigers finished the year 3-8.
