Mandeville names Josh Buelle as interim head football coach

Less than 24 hours after announcing the resignation of Guy LeCompte as its head football coach, the Mandeville High Skippers didn’t have to look that far to find his replacement.

Mandeville High principal Bruce Bundy announced Tuesday morning that defensive coordinator Josh Buelle is the interim head coach for the Skippers, who are set to begin the season Friday at home against Riverside Academy in jamboree action before their season opener on Sept. 1 at home against University High.
