Lusher football season finale canceled
Lusher Charter had its season come to an end one week earlier than expected when its season finale against Rosenwald was canceled.
The Lions finished 0-4 after a loss to Livingston Collegiate Friday at Victory Field at Joe Brown Park.
Lusher, which had already opted out of playing for district honors and the state playoffs, was scheduled to face Rosenwald this weekend and did not have a Week 10 matchup on the docket.
Rosenwald had notified the LHSAA in late September it was opting out of football for the remainder of the 2021 season.
