LSU wide receiver Kayshon Boutte announced on social media Monday evening he will return for his senior season in 2023.

“It is important to follow your dreams and live with the results. While some stories will end here, mine will not,” Boutte posted. “Let’s lock in and focus on the main goal of any LSU Tiger: winning a national championship!”

The Westgate High product did not have the season many expected as LSU’s passing game started slowly with a new coach staff and transfer quarterback Jayden Daniels. In 11 games, Boutte had 48 catches for 538 yards and two touchdowns adding one rush for 41 yards.

The 6-foot, 190-pound Boutte was a preseason All-American candidate who analysts pegged as a potential first round pick even though he played in just six games during the 2021 season due to injury.
