LSU senior offensive tackle Austin Deculus announced Monday that he will return to the team for the 2021 season.

The NCAA has granted a fifth-year of eligibility for college athletes due to the pandemic.

“I believe that in a year from now, the Joe Moore Award will be back where it belongs in Baton Rouge,” Deculus wrote. “I am looking forward to another incredible year with my teammates. I wouldn’t want to go into another season in the trenches with another group of guys.”

Deculus is the fourth starting offensive lineman to announce his intentions to stay with the Tigers, joining senior center Liam Shanahan and pair of junior guards – Chasen Hines and Ed Ingram.

A starter the past two seasons at right tackle, Deculus was the only full-time starter to carry over from LSU’s 15-0 national championship squad.

Here is the list of LSU players who have announced their intentions to return for 2021:

DE Ali Gaye – Jr.
DE Andre Anthony – Sr.
DT Neil Farrell – Sr.
