LSU loses cornerback Eli Ricks for rest of season

The news keeps getting worse for LSU.

All-American cornerback Eli Ricks is out for the season with an injury, head coach Ed Orgeron said Wednesday.

A nagging shoulder injury forced Ricks to leave the loss Saturday at Kentucky.

LSU has also lost receiver Kayshon Boutte (ankle) and top cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. (foot procedure) for the season. Orgeron said Monday that top edge rusher Ali Gaye is also sidelined this week

LSU (3-3, 1-2) hosts No. 20 Florida (4-2, 2-2) at 11 a.m. Saturday.
