LSU linebacker Damone Clark opts out of Texas Bowl
LSU linebacker Damone Clark announced Wednesday that he is opting out of the Tigers’ matchup with Kansas State in the Texas Bowl.

Clark has started preparations for the 2022 NFL Draft.
The 6-foot-3, 245-pound senior out of Southern Lab was a second team All-American selection after stellar 2021 season in which he totaled 135 tackles with 15.5 for losses to lead LSU. He also had 5.5 sacks.

The TaxAct Texas Bowl in Houston is slated for Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. in NRG Stadium.
