LSU junior receiver Drake Davis arrested, suspended from team indefinitely

LSU junior wide receiver Drake Davis was arrested Friday, accused of battery against a former girlfriend on multiple occasions.

Davis was booked on one count of second degree battery for incidents which allegedly occurred between April 2017 and June 2018.

The 6-foot-4 Davis has four career catches for 134 yards and two touchdowns at LSU. He is the son of Lester Earl and nephew of Louis Earl, a pair of former LSU basketball players in the mid-to-late 1990’s.

The Baton Rouge native who played one year at Dunham transferred to Fort Union Military Academy (Va.) as a prep junior and finished his high school career at IMG Academy in Florida.
