LSU guard Brandon Murray enteres transfer portal
Roster turnover was expected as soon as Will Wade was fired by LSU.

Freshman shooting guard Brandon Murray became the LSU first player to enter the transfer portal on Thursday, according to 247Sports.

The 6-foot-5 Murray was a four-star recruit in the 2021 class. He started 32 of the 33 games he played this past season, posting a team-leading 31.0 minutes per game. The native of Baltimore, Md. averaged 10.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
While the decisions of other potential Tiger returnees regarding a return to the team are not known, forward Tari Eason is expected to enter the NBA draft. Small forward Darius Days and guard Xavier Pinson have completed their college eligibility.
Others eligible to return to LSU next season are guards Eric Gaines, Justice Williams and Adam Miller as well as forwards Mwani Wilkinson, Alex Fudge and Bradley Ezewiro plus centers Shareef O’Neal, Efton Reid and Jerrell Colbert.
