LSU forward Trendon Watford to declare again for NBA draft
LSU forward Trendon Watford announced Wednesday on Instagram that he is applying for this year’s NBA Draft.
After his freshman seaosn in 2019-20, Watford decided to pull out of the draft to come back to the Tigers as a sophomore.
The All-SEC selection averaged 16.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and nearly three assists per game this past season.
The former five-star talent out of Mountain Brook, Ala. brings a diverse inside-outside skill set to the table as he looks to make the leap to the pro ranks. The 6-foot-9, 235 pounder is a consensus top 100 prospect for the draft.
