Dwight McGlothern #2

The latest hit to what will be a vastly different LSU roster next year comes with the decision of sophomore Dwight McGlothern to enter the transfer portal, according to multiple outlets.

The Houston native joins Derek Stingley, Elias Ricks and Cordale Flott cornerbacks to elect leave the program for the draft or via the transfer portal.

One of the Tigers’ starting boundary corners in conference play this past season following injuries to Stingley and Ricks, the 6-foot-2, 186-pound McGlothern impressed and totaled 32 tackles, two tackles for loss, one interception and five passes defended.

Not including signees, Raydarious Jones and Damarius McGhee are the only cornerbacks on the current LSU roster.

New head coach Brian Kelly and his staff will likely have to fill holes at the position through the portal as a top roster priority.
