LSU adds walk-on transfer Andre Sale, former Tennessee Tech QB

Former Tennessee Tech starting quarterback Andre Sale has transferred into the LSU program as a walk-on. Sale, an Arkansas native, confirmed on Twitter that he began classes Wednesday at LSU, the first day of the spring semester:


The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder has two years of eligibility remaining. Sale’s parents and sister are LSU graduates.

With the recent transfer of walk-on quarterback Caleb Lewis to Robert Morris, LSU will benefit from the the extra arm at the position behind three returnees – sophomore Myles Brennan, redshirt freshman Lowell Narcisse and redshirt junior Justin McMillen.
