Ralph Capitelli selected as 63rd Sugar Bowl President

Ralph Capitelli, a prominent local attorney, has been selected as the Sugar Bowl Committee’s President for the 2020-21 year. Capitelli, whose family moved to New Orleans when he was 12 years old, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans and his law degree from Loyola University of New Orleans.

No. 12 LSUA hands No. 8 Loyola first home loss

For the second time this season, the #12 LSUA men’s basketball team traveled to take on a top-10 ranked team in the NAIA Division I, and for the second time this season the Generals came out on top, using a pair of big runs to overcome #8 Loyola with a 91-84 win to hand the Wolf Pack their first home loss of the season Tuesday afternoon at The Den.

Amand, Roberson lead LA Tech to win over Loyola

Anna Larr Roberson and MeMe Amand were too much for Loyola-New Orleans to handle down low as the inside duo for Louisiana Tech led the Lady Techsters to a 71-52 win over the Wolf Pack Tuesday night at the Thomas Assembly Center.
