The District 9-5A contest featuring Archbishop Rummel against Jesuit at John Ryan Stadium will air at 6 p.m. today on 106.1 FM NASH ICON and on the worldwide web at www.nashfm1061.com.

The game was originally set for 1 p.m. but was moved back due to the bad weather overnight in the New Orleans area.

Cumulus New Orleans Sports Director Ken Trahan of CrescentCitySports.com will have the play-by-play call while he will be joined by former Major League pitcher Kirk Bullinger and former Tulane star Kenny Francingues.

The Blue Jays (23-3, 3-3) are currently No. 1 in the most recent LHSAA power ratings but are coming off of a 2-0 loss to St. Augustine Thursday night in a game seen live at CrescentCitySports.com.

Jesuit is led by catcher Zack Casebonne. The Dartmouth commit is batting .443 with a home run and 26 RBI while Tripp Haddad is hitting .423 with two home runs and 36 RBI. Jesuit hits .333 as a team while the Blue Jay pitching staff has a very impressive 1.45 team ERA.

The Raiders (14-7, 2-4) have dropped four straight Catholic League games after a very good start to the season, most recently dropping a 5-2 decision to Holy Cross Thursday.

Rummel is led by centerfielder Lance Johnson, batting .394 with 17 RBI and nine stolen bases and Louisiana Tech signee Kyle Walker, batting .393 with a home run, 13 RBI and 12 stolen bases. The Raiders hit .318 as a team and have a team ERA of 3.32.
