LHSAA Division I soccer state title games moved to Saturday

The Ocshner/LHSAA girls Division I girls and boys Division I soccer state championship matches at Strawberry Stadium in Hammond have been rescheduled.

The LHSAA girls Division I state championship match pitting No. 1 Dominican against No. 2 St. Joseph’s Academy has been moved from 3:30 p.m. Thursday to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

The boys Division I title match between No. 1 Catholic of Baton Rouge and No. 10 Dutchtown has been moved from 7:30 p.m. Thursday to 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

The move was made due to expected heavy rain set to arrive late Thursday afternoon.

All tickets previously purchased will be accepted on Saturday.
