Leesville-Warren Easton state semifinal game to be carried live on Crescent City Sports, WGSO Radio

The Wampus Cats (13-0) average 37.2 points per game. Junior fullback D’Ante Gallishaw leads the way with 179 carries for 1,380 yards and eight touchdowns while his younger brother, freshman tailback Caleb Gallashaw, has 112 carries for 711 yards and 10 touchdowns plus 11 receptions for 175 yards and a touchdown.

Sophomore quarterback Jacob Mount has completed 110-of-200 passes for, 1,900 yards and 24 touchdowns with just nine interceptions. His top receiver is senior Duwon Tolbert, who has 31 catches for 610 yards and seven touchdowns. Defensively, senior linebacker Matthew Pajinag leads the Wampus Cats with 114 tackles while senior free safety Tyler Brady has a pair of interceptions.

The Eagles (10-2) have lost to unbeaten Division I finalist John Curtis Christian and unbeaten 4A semifinalist and two-time defending state champion Karr.

Senior quarterback Lance Legendre has been good all season. Legendre has passed for 480 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions in the playoffs. Running back Ashaad Clayton has 337 yards and five touchdowns rushing in the three playoff wins while Kiaeem Green and Kenntrel Boyd are top receivers. Tackle Caleb Etienne is an Ole Miss commit.

Defensively, UL-Lafayette commit Jahmal Sam and Florida commit Chester Kimbrough are outstanding in the secondary. The Eagles have pitched four shutouts, including in their last two playoff wins over Rayne and Breaux Bridge.
