RUSTON – The National Association of Basketball Coaches announced Monday that Louisiana Tech guard DaQuan Bracey was selected to the Division I All-District 11 Team, voted on by member coaches of the NABC.

Bracey was named to the five-person first team, joined by Javion Hamlet (North Texas) Taveion Hollingsworth (WKU), Jhivvan Jackson (UTSA) and Bryson Williams (UTEP). It is his second postseason honor as the senior was also named First Team All-Conference USA.

The Baltimore, Maryland native started all 30 games this season, playing a team-high 847 minutes for an average of 28.2 per game, while leading the squad in points (12.9 per game) and assists (2.9 per game) for a second straight season.

Bracey scored in double figures in 25 of the 30 games and shot a team-best 44.5 percent from beyond the arc which ranked second in the conference and 19th in the country. He came up clutch at the end of games, hitting game-winning shots in C-USA play versus both Old Dominion and North Texas.

The point guard finished his four-year career ranked fourth in assists (508) and 19th in points (1,477). He is one of only three Bulldogs in program history with 1,400+ career points and 500+ career assists.

District 11 is made up of all 14 C-USA teams.

Bracey became the 11th Bulldog in the last 20 years and the first since Erik McCree (2016-17) to earn All-District honors. During this span, LA Tech has had 20 selections.
