LA Tech’s Beejay Williamson Invited to New York Giants minicamp

Louisiana Tech defensive back Beejay Williamson has received a minicamp invitation from the New York Giants.

Williamson, a 6-1, 193-pound defensive back, appeared in 49 games while making 28 starts during his collegiate career. The Dallas, Texas native was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman team in 2019 while garnering first team conference honors in 2020 and honorable mention honors in 2021.

Williamson recorded 202 total tackles in his career, including seven for loss. He finished his collegiate career with eight pass breakups, four forced fumbles, one and a half sacks and seven interceptions.

In 2022, Williamson’s 57 tackles ranked third on the LA Tech defense and recorded multiple tackles in seven games. He had a season-high nine tackles in addition to a forced fumble in the season opener at Missouri on Sept. 1.
