RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech officials announced on Thursday an agreement for a single-game matchup at Nebraska set for September 23, 2023.

This will mark the third overall meeting between the Bulldogs and Huskers – the first since 2006. The two teams first met in football in 1998. Nebraska has won both matchups between the two programs – both coming at home.

Against current Big 10 programs, Tech has an all-time record of 3-4-1. The Bulldogs’ last win vs. a Big 10 foe came in 2014 against Illinois in the Heart of Dallas Bowl (35-18).

Tech is currently 4-1 and 2-0 in conference play with four home games remaining (UMass – Oct. 12, Southern Miss – Oct. 19, North Texas – Nov. 9, UTSA – Nov. 30). Single-game tickets are still available and can be purchased through the Louisiana Tech ticket office or at LATechSports.com/tickets.
