LA Tech at Arkansas football game scheduled for 2024

RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech athletics officials announced on Tuesday afternoon an agreement for a single-game matchup at Arkansas set for November 23, 2024.

The contest will mark the fifth all-time meeting between the Bulldogs and Razorbacks – the first since 2016. The two sides first met in football in 1901. Arkansas has won all four meetings between the two programs.

Tech will be making just its second trip to Fayetteville in 2024. The first came in 2016 where Arkansas escaped with a 21-20 victory. The Bulldogs played the Razorbacks twice in the mid- ’90s with both meetings coming in Little Rock. The first matchup of the all-time series came in 1901 in Ruston with Arkansas claiming a 16-0 win.

Tech’s 2024 announced schedule also features a home matchup with Tulsa on September 21, 2024 and a road contest at NC State on September 7, 2024.

Season tickets are now on sale for the 2020 season. The Bulldogs own the nation’s longest active bowl winning streak with six consecutive victories dating back to 2014.

LA Tech is coming off its first 10-win season since joining the FBS ranks, and will host five home games over the course of the 2020 campaign, including four crucial Conference USA matchups against UTEP (October 10), Marshall (October 17), UAB (October 31) and Rice (November 14). The Bulldogs will open the 2020 home slate in non-conference play against Prairie View A&M on Saturday, September 19.
