RUSTON, La. (Jan. 22, 2018) – Louisiana Tech announced on Monday an agreement for a three-game football series with NC State beginning in 2021 and extending to the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

The three-game series is set to begin in 2021, while Louisiana Tech will play hosts to NC State on Sept. 6, 2025 at Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston. The Bulldogs will travel to Raleigh, North Carolina, on Oct. 2, 2021 and once again on Sept. 7, 2024 at Carter-Finley Stadium.

Louisiana Tech and NC State have met one time on the gridiron after the Bulldogs traveled to Raleigh in 2013 to open the season in a game NC State won, 40-14, on its home field.

The Bulldogs are coming off their fourth consecutive bowl victory, a feat only three other teams (Georgia, Wisconsin, Utah) in the country have achieved since 2014. Most recently, head coach Skip Holtz and company defeated SMU, 51-10, in the inaugural 2017 DXL Frisco Bowl.
