The Original on NASH ICON 106.1

Week two of the 26th year of Ken Trahan’s Original Prep Football Report will air on a special night this Thursday (Oct. 8) rather than the usual Friday night broadcast.

The show, airing from 6-11 p.m. starting with the Countdown preview show, is heard in the New Orleans area on NASH ICON 106.1 FM and on the worldwide web at NASHFM1061.com.

You can also catch all or part of the show on WSLA, 1560 AM (Slidell), The Game, 103.7 FM (Lafayette), Sports Talk 97.7 FM in Monroe/Ruston, Caddo Country 105.3 FM in Shreveport/Bossier/Vivian and The Sports Rebel 1320 AM in Vivian.

The threat of Hurricane Delta and the fact that schools have changed games regularly, with virtually no one in south Louisiana and very few in central Louisiana playing on Friday night, necessitated the change.

Countdown to The Original begins at 6 p.m. with guest Eddie Bonine, Executive Director of the LHSAA.

The Countdown Show includes previews of top games being played around the state Thursday evening and a few in-game updates from games which start early.

The Original begins at 7 p.m. with analysis from Ed Daniels of WGNO and WNOL sports before game reports from 25 games from around the state begin.

Catch scoreboard updates from CrescentCitySports.com with Jude Young and Emmanuel Pepis.

At the conclusion of games, we will have a few winning coaches as guests and in the final hour (10-11 p.m.) you can listen to analysis from every sector of the state to hear about what transpired in top games.

Barring any further unexpected developments, Ken Trahan‘s Original Prep Football Report will return to Friday night on Oct. 15.
